Monthly Meetings

The Monthly meeting of the Amateur Beekeepers Association – Central Coast is held on the fourth Tuesday of each month (except January). All monthly meetings are held at Erina Trust Community Hall on the corner of Karalta Road and Ilya Avenue, Erina, immediately behind the Fountain Plaza shopping centre.

Meetings follow a regular format:

· 6:00pm Beginning in Bees: This is a series of three 45minute sessions offered month to month to inform new and aspiring beekeepers of the basics of beekeeping. The sessions are as follows:

o Beginning in Bees 101. An Introduction to hive and bee basics

o Beginning in Bees 102. The beekeeper’s toolkit.

o Beginning in Bees 103. The life cycle of a bee.

· 7:00pm General Meeting and reports from the Committee and other appointees.
