New club members were invited to join club secretary, Toni Mitchell, to open a bee hive at Central Mangrove on a gloomy Saturday morning.

Unfortunately frames were fitted incorrectly, into an upside down super.

There wasn’t any honey to be harvested, but we got to taste some of the sweet honey from the offcuts.

    Well done Billy on the photographs. I did not realise there had been so many taken on the day. There are some great shots. Jill has had the hive left on her property and is just learning to care for it. She was a lovely hostess and very thankful to all who came and helped on the day.
